European Court of Human Rights (Grand Chamber) says registered partnership for opposite-sex couples only is inadmissible | Council of Europe

In a judgment delivered today the Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights ruled that Greece had violated the European Convention on Human Rights by excluding same-sex couples from registered partnership, restricted in Greece to heterosexual couples (Vallianatos et al v Greece, appl. 29381/09, 32684/09).
